Production of ITOMAK
The bulk of our production constitutes proprietary and patented centrifugal concentrators
They boast high specific capacity and efficiency .
The units are power efficient, compact and not heavy. Our concentrators may be installed in various compact areas including underground.
Itomak concentrators are known for their high levels of separation of heavy metals and minerals into enriched concentrates, very impressive rates of extraction of fine, flat and floating gold.
At the same time very high reduction is achieved, sometimes up to 10000 times resulting in a very small volume of the concentrate.
The concentrates perform automated discharge of the concentrate (in 20 seconds) without virtually stopping the unit
Our concentrators are ecologically friendly, consuming no chemicals. Water and electricity are used only in the process.
The units are manufactured according to highest quality standards. They are reliable in operation and can cope with emergency situations as well as use recirculated water.
Itomaks are easy to operate and service.
The company provides warranty and post warranty service, supplies all necessary spare parts for reliable unit operation in most extreme conditions.
The units are competitively priced and the delivery lead periods are reasonably short.
When buying our units be sure that our specialists will commission them and will set the units to the most efficient mode based on the conditions and the particulars of your feed materials.
Technical supervision is assured throughout the service life of the units.
When buying Itomak units you attain a win-win situation in terms of price and extraction level thus providing your company with new viable development opportunities
Equipment ITOMAK is Used
• for extraction of fine free gold using gravity beneficiation of placers and ores;
• ñ atching free gold from circulating milled ore or float concentrates
• treatment of tailings from placer gold extraction
• extraction of gold from heavy concentrates
• finding out gravity extractable gold during geological prospecting
• extracting or separation of various products which have a higher SG compared to the gangue
Our practical experience of operating Itomak concentrators in Russia and overseas proves the fact that even grades of 0,3 g/t in the feed material may bring about dozens of kilograms of extracted gold in a viable manner.

ITOMAK Produce
Centrifugal Concentrators
The operational principle of the concentrators is separation of the feed material in the centrifugal field into the two fractions, namely a “light” and “ heavy” fraction.
Separation occurs as a result of interaction of the stream of fluidization water, centrifugal forces and gravity field which effect a particle in a horizontally or inclined rotating rotor.
The intensity of the process increases due to vibration of mineral bed which is determined by such horizontal or inclined position of the rotor.
Feed material is reported into a high frequency rotating rotor where it is accelerated to the angle speed close to the speed of the rotor. At the same time fluidization water is added under pressure into the rotor.
As a result particles with SG higher than a specific figure (“heavy” fraction) move towards the walls under the impact of centrifugal forces, face the stream of incoming water and settle along the walls in the riffles. Particles of the material with lesser SG (‘'light” fraction) are squeezed out toward the inner surface of the bowl and are discharged with water.
The level of separation, particularly of fine gold, increases due to horizontal or inclined position of the rotation axis. The particles, stuck in the riffles, vibrate due to gravity vector, which varies cyclically during rotor rotation. Gradually substitution of lighter particles with heavier ones forms a heavy fraction.
The process efficiency depends on the water pressure sizing range and solids and liquid ratio in the feed material.
Horizontal or inclined position of the rotation axis adds up to the unit operation reliability, protects bearing unit from water. This method and the concentrators using it are patented.
